In this post, I’ll be discussing any technical problems I ran into and how I solved them.
One Problem I had was the name of the charity being too long and clunky. This made designing a more simplified logo difficult and I wasn’t happy with my result.
I solved this by changing the name to a shorter one called Humber Tails. I came up with this name because the charity is based in Hull and Tails is a playful word for the animals but also a play on tales as the charity is sharing many stories of these rescue animals and their happy ending. The overall name is much more light-hearted and fun because the original name “Hull Animal Welfare Trust” was too long-winded and uninspired.
I found designing the logo with the new name “Humber Tails” much easier as it simplified the logo and helped me explore different logo layouts and styles using the full name and abbreviated version of the name.
